Neither Dead Nor Jilted

Attention World:
Our wedding is still on, despite Cait's claim that Lyssa is "dead to her"* on facebook. While a startling turn of events, I have it on high authority that cake and alcohol - especially the BLP** - transcend death.

* Technically "OMG you bitch! You have 'flatshare' plans with another coxn other than me? You're dead to me now."
** Not to be confused with the BPL, although we loves that institution as well.

Pi = Bad, Pie = Good

Not that Andrea's reading, but we <3 her and her mom.

And for the record, I like pi...and pie.

A Rule for Wedding Planning

There will be no math permitted in the wedding planning. NONE.

Why? Because Cait hates:
algebra
geometry
feeling like a retard
volume
area
formulas
pi
circumference
diameter
radius
square roots
word problems
decimals
graphs
slopes
and most of all: triangles.

The only math allowed is converting metric, percentages, and anything that means I get more wine.

Duuuuuuuuude.

Bud Light Project = Engagement Party

Yay or Nay?

Cait, I facebook walled Mary and asked her for information regarding her bee-yoo-ti-ful RBC-pride bridesmaid dress. Do you think anyone likes us enough to wear a similar one?

Ooh! We could be Totally 80s and have people wear unis with (short) skirts over them, so the spandex shows at the bottom. Do you remember the 80s?

Okay, those are both awful plans. Another awful plan was when I logged back into the internet before bed. Frak.

Bouquets

That's where I worry about the blue and white color scheme. Other than that, I think it rocks. Maybe with an accent color or something?

I mean, there is the advantage that our bridesmaids could wear their getups again.

I think Alex has to show up in blue and white stripes, no matter what.

Ditto to no tux unis. Who owns that? If it's anyone we know, they are DISOWNED. Maybe we can get someone on door duty to "take care of" quality control at our wedding. I don't know why, but I'm picturing Mary's Greg. Did you know they've been together for, like, seven years?
Cait, I am eating a lot of cookie dough tonight. Some of it makes it to the microwave, but most of it just makes it right to my mouth. The oven was never even a consideration, although we do have those in the Midwest.

le colours

There is always the Riverside blue & white option... classic, understated, and STRIPED! It would give baby Alex a chance to rock out in some of his amazing striped clothing... and allow for the tards that we know to don their unis - because there would clearly be at least one fool who would do that. Which reminds me, Lyssa did I ever tell you there was a guy in a tuxedo uni at the Canley party? Let's ban those.

Sometimes I worry we should be checked into McLean. Sometimes I think of the person who congratulated me on being engaged & laugh.
