Our wedding will not be a dry event. I have not yet run this decree by Cait, but if she does not agree with me, well, then she'll be dead to me* and our wedding will be OFF. I'm sorry, but I just feel really passionately about things like alcohol, cake, and wearing days-of-the-week undies on their assigned day. (Personally, I'm more of a stripes girl.) Our reception will also have "beverages" available.

RIGHT NOW I'm exploring wine options. I think it's important that there be things Cait and I like to drink at our wedding. Ergo, you sure can count on Bud Light and margaritas! Since moving to Chicago, it's become my mission in life to taste wines for our big event.** Until tonight, I'd exclusively been drinking chardonnays, because I like them. Tonight was a BIG branch out; based on advice from TJ's Fearless Flyer I'm drinking a sparkling pinot grigio. It's all the rage in Europe, and we're nothing if not tres chic. When I don't forget that it's a pg, I like it. When I forget it's not a chard, I think there's something wrong with it. Overall, it's light, crisp, and refreshing. It's also $4.99/bottle. I think it makes it to round two. YAY!

* All together!
** A Lie. I just like drinking wine.
